Why Choose Lazer Work Lights For Your Machinery?

1. Made In The UK - Made To Last

Our goal is simple: to deliver reliable, high-performance lighting solutions that meet the most rigorous demands throughout the industrial sector. Designing & manufacturing our lights in-house is the crucial factor which allows us to deliver this. We have complete control over every step, from the initial design concept to final product assembly, ensuring the highest standards in terms of product design and build quality, alongside adoption of the latest technological advancements.

Our commitment to quality is symbolised by the fact our facilities are accredited to ISO9001, ISO14001 and ISO45001 standards. These ISO certifications provide reassurances to customers of the standards we employ, but the real difference comes from our people. Our Engineering and Manufacturing teams work closely together, constantly seeking ways to improve quality and workflow. This continuous improvement helps us deliver products that perform better and last longer. We are proud to source parts locally whenever possible, partnering with UK-based suppliers who share our commitment to quality. This approach ensures that our products are made to the very highest standards.

2. The Utility Series: Build Quality & Engineering Excellence

Our UK-based engineering team, working alongside top industry suppliers, uses advanced CAD, light simulation, and manufacturing technologies to create products with precision. Each light undergoes stringent testing in our facilities and at accredited test houses across Europe, so you can trust that our products meet the highest standards. The result? Durable, reliable lights with a robust warranty, providing peace of mind in even the harshest conditions. With the recent launch of the Utility-50, we now have a selection of work lights with a power rating of 25W, 45W, 50W, 80W & 170W.

The Utility Series lights feature advanced electronic thermal management, CAE optimised heatsinks, and unbreakable polycarbonate lenses with hard coating, enhancing their structural robustness and suitability for even the harshest environments and toughest working conditions. Additionally, they include upgraded die-cast mounting brackets, repositioned and concealed gore tex breather membranes, and specially arranged LEDs/optics. Furthemore we offer within the range a wide choice of key functionalities too, from adjustable Variable Brightness settings to Red Tail Light and Beacon / Strobe functions. This means there's a solution to suit almost any industrial application.

3. In House Testing: Ensuring Confidence, Durability & Reliability For Operators

Tailored to exacting requirements, whoever the customer or whatever the application, Lazer's robust and versatile range of LED work lamps enable operators to see more and work safer. We recognise customers don’t want to take chances though, which is why all of our lights are tested to rigorous standards intended to ensure trouble-free operation for many years. All lights in the series are ECE worklight approved, and have EMC Protection and an IP69K enhanced water resistance rating.

  • VIBRATION TESTING: Lazer’s lights undergo extensive vibration testing, for 8 hours on each axis, up to 5 Grms at a frequency range from 10–2,000 Hz. This simulates the vibration forces experienced by the lights once mounted on off highway machines.

  • SALT SPRAY TESTING: Lazer’s lights undergo rigorous salt spray testing to ensure they are approved to ASTMB117 standards and beyond. This ensures that even in corrosive environments, Lazer’s lights will continue to perform.

  • ENVIRONMENTAL TESTING: Lazer’s lights are tested in hot and cold temperatures, as well as humidity, for a minimum of 10 days. They are tested in conditions up to -40°C to +85°C and up to 90% humidity.

  • ENDURANCE TESTING: Lazer Lamps conduct a continuous 4000-hour test cycle to mimic the 24-hour operational conditions with minimal downtime experienced in extreme customer environments.

  • EMC protected - CISPR-25 (Class3/5): It is of vital importance that lighting does not affect control systems, cameras, on-board computers and other radio sensitive equipment. This is why Lazer’s lights are scrutinised to ensure they do not interfere with EMC functionality.

  • IP68 & IP69K: These ratings offer complete peace of mind that the work light you are installing have undergone rigorous tests to ensure it is both durable and conforms to the highest standards on the scale of protection against water, moisture and dust ingress.

The Utility Series: Product Overview

UTILITY-25 / MAXX

The Utility-25 is a 25-watt lamp widely used in the automotive sector. It is popular for rear-facing backup lights on passenger cars and pickup trucks, providing extra illumination around the vehicle. Heavy goods vehicles also frequently utilise the Utility-25. Unique features of the Utility-25 and 25 Maxx include a versatile bracket design that allows the lamp to be mounted very close to the surface or upside down, enhancing its mounting flexibility.

UTILITY-45 / 80

The Utility-45/80 is a rugged, durable lamp designed for demanding environments like forestry, mining, and construction. This lamp has proven reliable in the market, with many thousands of hours of use in harsh conditions. It features a slimline or optional wide bracket, offering different mounting options based on the application requirements.

UTILITY-50

The Utility-50 is a medium-duty LED work light packed with performance, style, robustness, and functionality. Utility-50 can deliver more than just a high-performance work light.

A version of the Utility-50 is also available with a flashing beacon function and/or an integrated red tail-light function, which is characterised by 4 outline markers in each corner of the lamp, creating a unique and stylish appearance, over and above its safety benefits

UTILITY-80 HD

The Utility-80 HD (Heavy-Duty) builds on our reputation for high-performance LED work light solutions. The product is specifically designed and engineered for the rigorous demands of industrial applications including mining, construction, forestry, and agriculture.

A version of the product with a variable brightness function is available, providing the machine operator the option to increase or decrease the lamp's brightness at the touch of a button.

LINEAR-24 FLOOD

With the signature low profile design of the Linear range, the Linear-24 Flood challenges conventional work light solutions. Offering outstanding lighting performance optimised for heavy machinery, the lamp delivers ‘zonal’ lighting perfectly aligned to work cabs, whether mining or construction, forestry or agriculture.

Superior lighting performance aside, the Linear-24 Flood offers a number of other benefits over more traditional work light solutions. With a power consumption rating of 168W, the lamp provides for a more straightforward installation than multiple smaller lamps, to achieve a similar level of light output (the lamp utilises 2-pin Deutsch connector). Reduced fitting time is one immediate advantage, alongside reduced ongoing maintenance time and cost. Fitting a single, low-profile light bar also has the benefit of being less susceptible to misalignment or getting damaged.
