Taking rally car lighting solutions to the next level, the 4-way Rally Lamp Bonnet Pod from Lazer Lamps comprises 2x Carbon-6 Spot (3D Material) and 2x Carbon-6 Drive (3D Material) high performance LED driving lights, pre-mounted within an aerodynamic, lightweight Glass & Carbon-fibre composite pod, designed and engineered to match the shape of the Fiesta R5 MKII, or MKI vehicles (with supplied spacer kit).
With the complete system weighing just 3kg, the 4-way Bonnet Pod affords substantial weight saving gains over traditional lamp pods, while delivering lighting performance unrivalled considering the lamps’ size and low power consumption. Moreover, the products are designed, engineered, and manufactured in the UK to the most exacting standards, and benefit from input received from the very highest levels of professional rally motorsport.
The Carbon-6 Spots provide for exceptional long-range visibility, complimented by the Carbon-6 Drives which deliver a spread of light crucial to having the confidence to drive faster, and safer. Constructed using 3D printed Carbon-Fibre & Nylon composite material (CF-PA12), the lamps all profit from E-mark certification, a mode enabled via a touchscreen Dashboard Controller. Additionally, the Dashboard Controller allows for operation of the following functions: E-Boost Mode, Adaptive Mode, Fog Mode, and Corner Lighting (requires LH/RH Corner Pod system).
Without the Dashboard Controller, the lamps are programmed to just operate in E-Boost mode. Utilising PWM signals to initiate the different functions, Lazer Lamps is able to provide the required information to control some/all of the different functions without use of the Dashboard Controller, if preferred.
The bonnet pod, made from carbon-fibre with glass laminate layers (to ensure compliance with some FIA regulated series), comes with the lights pre-mounted. The pod allows for quick and easy vertical adjustment of the lights +/-5deg, alongside <2deg outboard adjustment permits more left/right spread of light.
The 4-Way Rally Lamp Bonnet Pod is recommended for use with Linear-6 Elite corner lights, mounted in a horizontal orientation. A bespoke pod exists for Fiesta R5 customers, for all other customers it is recommended to mount the corner lights with our Aluminium Side Bracket Kit. Where the requirement is for corner lights mounted in a vertical orientation, we would recommend our ST4 Evolution high performance spotlights.
